Research & Development Center

Mechanical Engineering

With incomparable facilities a great location and long standing relationships with industry, we’re uniquely positioned to do research that can’t be done anywhere else. Our faculty and students go after mechanical engineering’s toughest challenges, and what they find influences science and changes lives.
The Research center is offering PHD and MSc Engineering program in various streams of mechanical engineering. At present center has well qualified supervisors with hands on experience guiding scholars. Center is offering program in collaboration with chemistry department, also Facilities are open for other scholars to conduct testing and stir casting facilities.

Computer Science and Engineering

R & D Cell has been established in SEACET since from the year 2014, to facilitate and encourage research culture among the faculty and students, under the affiliation of Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum. Its prime role is to identify real world problems and provide solution through research methodologies, and also promote research through a range of publications. It enables a congenial environment for technological development and monitors the research activities of the college. The R&D Cell aims to reach the Vision and Mission of the college and able to submit research proposals for grants to different agencies like AICTE, VTU, VGST, K-BITS, KSCST etc.. The centre provides necessary infrastructure for students and faculties to conduct research projects in thrust areas of Science and Engineering like Machine Learning, Data Science, Cloud Computing, Image Processing, Cyber Security, Image Processing, Network Security, Big data and Internet of Things

Electronics and Communication Engineering
