Dr. B. Venkata Narayana

He was awarded with Doctorate degree in Mechanical Engineering, in 2016, M. Tech., in Production Engineering in 2001 and B. Tech., in Mechanical Engineering in 1998, all from S.V.U. College of Engineering, Tirupati, AP. He pursued his doctoral research in the field of squeeze film dampers. He joined as Senior Lecturer in the Department of Mechanical Engineering in S.E.A. College of Engineering & Technology, Bangalore in July, 2007 and served in the various levels such as Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, I/c Principal, Vice-Principal, Dean (Admissions), staff coordinator for various activities etc., in the same Institute. He had total 21 year of experience in the academics including 1 year in industry. Presently, Dr. B. Venkata Narayana is Guiding 4 Ph.D scholars in the area of metal matrix composites and manufacturing. He guided 10+ UG and 30+ PG projects in the fields of productivity improvement, quality management, BPR etc in B.E., M.Tech., and MBA & he established practical laboratories related to Mechanical Engineering. Dr. B. Venkata Narayana is the Life member of professional bodies like ISTE, IE (I), and ORSI. He received Best Teacher Awards based on the performance. He published over eight articles in the peer-reviewed international journals and over eight conference proceedings, and delivered lectures in various areas.
