The central subjects in training at B.Ed. Level encompasses philosophical, psychological, sociological and political aspects which structurof the learner, learning motivation, intelligencee the establishment for developing the mental set concerning the instructional method.In the psychology of teaching & learning, development , personality and exceptional children form part of
the core curriculum.Psychological tests and case studies give a down to earth premise to the investigation of the psychology of teaching & learning Student teachers are exposed to the parameters of the Indian system of education, its structure, problems at different levels of education and
school management. our programs aim to help the students to know and understand the philosophical and sociological foundations of education.

Eligibility

A citizen of India who has passed any Bachelor’s Degree examination of Bangalore University or any University in India or abroad recognized as equivalent through 10+2+3/4/5 pattern of education with 50% aggregate of all  subjects studies in Degree course. Or a Master Degree with 50% marks. 1.2 In case of SC/ST, Category 1 and physically challenged student 45% marks in aggregate of all the subjects he/she has studied for degree course or 45% in Master Degree

Duration of the Course

The duration of study for B.Ed. shall extend over two years with four semesters.
The medium of Instruction and Examination shall be in
English or Kannada Medium of Instruction
The medium of instruction and examination shall be in English or Kannada.
