A post graduate programme leading to M.Tech. degree in

Digital Communication and Networking :

The focus of the M.Tech. degree programme in Digital Communication and Networking Systems is a thorough and in-depth study of Communication theory from a Signal processing perspective as exemplified by courses like Statistical Signal Processing, Probability & Random Process, High Speed Communication Networks, Smart Antennas and Digital Communication Receivers. A broad theoretical base is provided through courses like ‘Linear Algebra, Multimedia Communiucation, Advanced Digital Communication, Protocol Engg.. The students also undergo laboratory programmes on the Multimedia Communication, Advanced Digital Communication, Wireless Communication, Advanced Computer Networks.

VLSI Design & Embedded system :

VLSI Design and Embedded Systems is a thorough and in-depth study of Design of Analog and Mixed mode VLSI Circuits, Real Time Operating Systems, VLSI for signal processing, MEMS,CMOS RF Circuit design, SOC Design, Nanoelectronics, ASIC Design, Synthesis and Optimization of Digital Circuits, High Speed VLSI Design, Image and Video Processing, Advances in VLSI Design, Modern DSP etc., The students also undergo laboratory programmes on the VLSI Design and Embedded System Lab.

Course Objective:
To prepare the graduates with recent and advanced subjects in Electronics & Communication. To engage in professional development & to pursue Ph.D degree or flexible career paths amid future technological changes.

Eligibility for Admission:
Minimum 50% aggregate in BE and eligibility as per the merit list prepared based on GATE or PGCET ranks. Duration & Mode of Study: 2 Years -4 Semesters (Full Time)

Infrastructure / Facilities of Department:
New PG block is constructed in the year(2013-14) having corporate ambience and class rooms are equipped with LCD projectors.R&D Lab and regular PG lab classes are equipped with higher end PCs, Printer and Internet facilities.
