Machine Design :

The focus of the M.Tech. degree programme in Machine Design is a thorough and in-depth study of Continuum Mechanics, Finite Element Method, Advanced Fluid Dynamics, Computer Applications in Design, Composite Materials Technology, Mechatronics System Design, Dynamics & Mechanism Design, Advanced Theory of Vibrations, Design Optimization, Theory of Plasticity, Automobile System Design, Advanced Machine Design, Applied Mathematics, Rotor Dynamics, Advanced Manufacturing Process Simulation, Tribology and Bearing Design, Fracture Mechanics, Robust Design, Computational Fluid Dynamics .. The students also undergo laboratory programmes on Design Engineering Lab.

Course Objective:
To prepare the graduates with recent and advanced subjects in Mechanical Engineering. To engage in professional development & to pursue Ph.D degree or flexible career paths amid future technological changes.

Eligibility for Admission:
Minimum 50% aggregate in BE and eligibility as per the merit list prepared based on GATE or PGCET ranks. Duration & Mode of Study: 2 Years -4 Semesters (Full Time)

Infrastructure / Facilities of Department:
New PG block is constructed in the year(2013-14) having corporate ambience and class rooms are equipped with LCD projectors.R&D Lab and regular PG lab classes are equipped with higher end PCs, Printer and Internet facilities.
